Hailey Elizabeth Smith

She's here!!! =) Sorry its taken so long for me to update this. We came home from the hospital monday afternoon and then all ended up with the stomach flu... so its been a long week! =) But anyway... everything at the hospital went great! Our new baby girl is healthy and home safe with us. Hailey Elizabeth was born Friday, December 8th at 9:40am by scheduled c-section. We are all doing great and Jake just loves her! Her tries to cuddle her, its really cute! Matt and I are adjusting to the lack of sleep again and just enjoying our family. =) We couldn't be happier. I can't even describe it... corny, I know! But its been wonderful... even with the stomach flu and no sleep! =) Ok well I'm gonna go nap before Hailey needs to eat again. I'll write more later! Hope everyone is doing good!

She weighed 8lbs 9ozs and was 20.5 inches long... and adorable!! =)

Jake turned one

So yesterday was Jake's first birthday!! He is getting so big! We had a great day... he spent the morning with grandma, then we went up to the mall to play with Heidi and her three girls. They had a lot of fun and he kept trying to steal drinks, food, and diaper bags from people... lol. My little clepto. Then Aunt Maggie met us up at the mall and we went home and had dinner with Grandma, Papa Steve, Aunt maggie, mommy and daddy and jake. After Dinner we played and he opened his birthday gift from Grandma and Papa Steve. Then it was cake time!!! He LOVED the cake... he's not a big icecream fan though, too cold I guess. He made such a mess.. I took a bunch of pictures, I just need to put them on the computer tonight when I get home from work. He was so cute though.. such a little man! After cake, Grandma (susan) came over and brought his birthday present. She got him a ball pit and he loved it! Well daddy took a while to blow it up, so he played in the box with balls in the meantime. He was having a great time! Finally around 8:30 everyone left and he went to bed. He was a sleepy little guy, but still so cute! I can't believe he's a year old. He's such a good baby! This weekend is his big birthday party... I know he's going to love all of the attention and toys he'll get. Aunt Heather, Uncle Jason, Uncle Mike, Aunt Michelle, and his cousin Aidan are all driving down from PA for the weekend to come to his birthday party. Its going to be so much fun... and Chelsea is coming from VA too!!! Me and Jake are very excited!
I still just can't believe that my baby is one! He's so darn cute! Even when he's doing something bad... I don't know how Matt and I are going to be able to discipline him, we can't even say no to him now without laughing. He knows how to make us laugh. He likes to growl, and tell daddy that he's bad. lol... mommy taught him that one. oops! =) Ok well I will post pics from last night today or tomorrow!
