This is a Celtic Cross for Matt's Scottish heritage. It is the cross for the Isle of Iona. It has a pretty neat story, you should definitely google it, but I will sum it up as best I can. Basically an Irish Priest was banished from Ireland for his involvement in a battle and he went to the Isle of Iona. This is where an extraordinary conversion of many pagans (Scottish mostly, but also English and Irish) into Christianity took place. The Priest (along with a few others) started a monastery on this Isle of Iona. So there ya go! Another meaningful Celtic tattoo =)
